Mamba monster ESC cable direction and it's beeping

    Hello.

    I have a E-revo Brushless.
I also got the Castlelink. There where no knob on the ESC cable connector from the mamba monster.

    Is this the right way?

Also the car beeps... but first i want to know if the cable was the right or wrong way.

Brown is the negative side so you want it to be on the same side as the black wire. The ESC will beep when it arms and does a cell count.

It appears your picture is backwards.

Yea, i know it should beep, but not all the time, not stopping once.

    But it works fine now.

Use your castle link and restore factory default settings...see if that helps. If you make any changes with the castle link remember to hit update in the bottom right hand corner of the software programme.

Edit: just read post #4...is it sorted?

can't really tell from the pic but it looks like the ESC plug is backwards (pretty sure looking at the pic again). you have the brown wire in, not out. the servo wires are correct, they will only plug in one direction....

all dark colors go out (meaning outer edge of the Rx) ie black, brown.....etc

Refer to this to setup the Mamba Monster ( MMM ) esc for maximum performance:
    CASTLE LINK GUIDE

also you will need to set the throttle, break, & neutral set point every time you make an adjustment to the ESC...with CL...

Yes, it works fine now. Cable was wrong.
Just wanted to have the cable right way before i start troubleshooting.

I also calibrated the throttle, that did the trick i think.
