The cage and shell are for a Team Associated SC8, theres a bit of cutting and drilling to make it fit but seams to have worked quite well!

Andy, any more info or closeups on how you mounted the cage? I have my Eslayer and an SC8 and i have thought about putting a cage on my eSlayer as well and just dont see it lining up.

Thanks people! My aim was to make it look as real as possible really!!
I shall take some pics over the next couple of days and get them up ASAP
Of all the mods but its well easy to make it fit the wheel base of the sc8 shell is slightly off
But u can't really notice also the cage works great and saves the shell!!
I run the stock front bummer inside the front of the shell which also seams to hold up!!

At the OP : did you have to make any adjustments to the body for mounting? that body looks sick ( not talking about the paint )

Finally got rounds to getting some picks the wheelbase of the slayer and the sc8 is abit off so you have to cut away abit of the wheel base of the shell

Modded front strut towers for the front of the cage and shell as you can see I had to do some cutting and shaping so they would go through the cage and shell onto.

The front holes of the sc8 cage just need a little widening to fit

This I'd the cage in place with new drilled body pin holes to hold in down before the shell goes on top , to stop the shell rubbing on the pins I just used some foam washers stuck to the inner of the shell holes

The rear of the cage is pretty easy to fit but is a bit of a bodge you can see from the pic the bits of it that I have cut away...including the cross bar for the motor to sit. The next part is the fact I have to remove the rear struts to relise and install the cage, but this way I didn't need to do any cutting to them. Then I just used some large body pins underneath to hold it up. It's a bit of a crap way I fitted it I know this but this was very much a trial and it works really well and seams strong so I left it as is. I'm sure someone could make a better way of fitting it..

So there's a rough in site as to how I fitted it together hope that helps anyone. If I had the money I would get a second cage and shell and take time fitting it all nice a neat but as is this one works so good . It rolls crashes flips and smashes and the cage and shell are still fully intact . It wasn't built to be a shelf queen it was built to work great and just look as close to a real sc truck as possible and for me it works just as I wanted. I'm more than happy with it :-)

Thank you very much for the pics. Would have taken me a while to figure out what you did on the rear.

How are the Integy piggy back shocks ride compared to the gtr shocks with gold rods?
