    Slash antenna cut

    My slash's antenna is some what broke.The plastic part that protects the wires snapped.I tried pulling it together as best as I could and put electric tape on it and that didnt really help.I did notice that I didnt put it on very well and redid that.Please help will be heading to hobbie town today

    Just get another antenna tube,that's what broke right?
    The antenna it self is what cant be messed with. Before the 2.4 came out,the antenna had to be 36" long,you might not see all 36"'s but it's there,in side the receiver or something,it's a am radio standard.

    Well the tube is broke and the black wire inside that is cut not completley off though

    I cant on comp but I could on phone

    Try not to let it break,your truck should still go,but you will lose range.

    Yes my truck will still go, but not as nearly as far as it did before.

    Sounds like it broke some where,might need a new receiver?
    You might be able to fix it,but radio signals are quite touchy.

    Ok well I ended up having to buy a new traxxas link reciver.But the new problem is the fact that I cant get the truck linked with the remote.When I do the procedure to link them I end up having the esc a bright green while the remote and reciver blink red
