Rally with 1/8 buggy wheels? Anyone have?

I was wondering if anyone has put 1/8 buggy wheels/tires on their rally. I'm interested in doing this to mine by buying the 17mm hex conversion and going with some buggy wheels.

Yes, I have buggy wheels on mine as well. I used the Traxxas 17MM kit.

    Suprasales 17mm Buggy Wheels/Tires.

I also have a set of street and slicks from them. They are still NIP and havent seen the ground.

These are the ones on my Slash 4x4. Badland block type tread.

I think the 1/8 buggy wheels are the way to go. Upgrade to the 17mm hubs and you're in!!! Here's mine... like the other guys, Suprasales!

    Duratrax Derringers:

    GRP's

Sweep Tires with Ofna 17mm wheels:

Ive gone with STRC adapters for the slash 4X4 and they seem to put the tires exactly where they should be inside the fenders. I can say with confidence, dont buy the integy adapters.

Hey guys sweet rigs first of all. So I got a really good deal on 2 sets of rear xo-1 premount wheels and tires and had to try em.
I used trx 17mm adapters 4x4 rally/slash offset and they sit hellaflush with minor body trimming in the front and rear.
They look similar to post #9 sweeps/ofna setup, and they perform very well. (Pavmentsurfer very nice rig thanks for the inspiration)
I have stock length arms and the newer trx cvds. The 17mm 1/8 scale setup is the way to go for sure.

I definitely agree with the 17mm 1/8 setup! I just got a set of XO-1 carriers, hubs, & axles for my LCG Slash too!
