    MIP CVDs

MY MIP CVDs have quite a bit of contact with my STRC steering blocks, I really do not want to remove material from my steering blocks. Just wondering if any of you running this set up?

    Thanks,

My Stock Traxxas Aluminum ones needed a little touch up with the dremel. Very little. Its just the MIP Axles are so big in that area, or you could limit your travel. But they dont need much.

A few people will let them rub the contact area until smooth. On my Pede 4x4 with MIP's I used the sanding wheel from my dremel and ground enough off so there would be no contact. Then took fine grit sandpaper and made it baby bottom smooth. I like this much better. About 5 minutes work on each side and they were good to go.

Here is a pick of the carrier. I ground a little meat off the inside where it rubbed. I can't find the pic I took afterwards. ugh

Mine are locked up and don't even move when straight, so I was going to throw them on my slash and see how much I needed to trim off the factory parts so I could measure.

    Thanks for the replies
