    Battery issue

    So used. Traxxas slash Nimh battery is giving me problems 7000 mah
    It won't take a charge for more than a 30 min and runs for about 5 min. Half power it sucks please help
    It was used on a ez peak before I got I use the stock still

    The stock charger is not exactly a favorite around here, especially for a massive battery like that. What's your budget like for a new charger?

    Get yourself a Traxxas EZ-Peak PLUS. It's a two-pack charger It will also allow you to get into LiPo in the future (and you WILL want to get into LiPo )

    First off it is obviously not a Traxxas battery correct? There are no 7000mah NiMH that Traxxas makes, actually I dont think I ever saw a 7000 mah NiMH battery period.

    Your wording is a little difficult to understand atleast to me? Your saying the battery is also used? Hard to say what kinda condition the cells might be in depending on its age, etc.

    And for sure the stock charger is gonna have a very hard time doing anything with a 7000mah battery.

    It's always possible the pack has a bad cell. But my money is on your stock charger being the wrong one for the job.

    What brand, style battery are you dealing with exactly? I'm not sure I have ever seen a 7000mah NiMH for a RC car period.
