Anyone with some thoughts on the 6551 GPS Module . I was thinking of getting it but every where I have checked they are out of them . Early March so any day now .

As far as I know they arent officially out. I've had mine on order since about this time last year. Just a heads up you will need to pick up the Expander Unit (6550) along with the GPS Module (6551).

I have 2 sets on order. One is planned for the Rally and the other for one of my other trucks. I'm hoping it will be something that can be moved easily.

How much we're the two GPS sets from Traxxas? I'm just curious... I'm guessing at least 75-100 each.

Nice... Not bad for both modules. Gotta love those Tower Discounts! The 50 off over 300 is always sweet! I used that coupon a while back to get my stampede 4x4 VXL, and it was free shipping. I think Tower does the discounts the best so far, and they usually have an accurate depiction of their stock, something I know other websites tend to overlook. Always sux when you select a item and go through check out only to find that one of the items is back ordered, but it doesn't reflect on their website.

I see RcSuperstore has GPS Module for $66 but they are on order . Cheapest so far .

I think it's simply amazing how GPS is now a part of our daily lives, and now even RCs. A decade ago, GPS was stupidly expensive and a 3MP camera was over a grand. My how times progress
