    vxl3m

    i was trying to figure out if the newer vxl3m has low voltage detection for lipos because i am planing to power up.

    I would assume it does since you can run lipo in it

    Yes. LVD will probably already be engaged out of the box.

    I'm guessing you have a green light and not red so toss in the lipo

    Green = GO for LiPo! If you have a red light, press and hold the EZ-Set button for 10 seconds, wait for the ascending tone and the light will turn green. That means the LVD is active.
