    rpm rear and front arms

What is the past number for the summit rpm arms 80602 80692? They both say revo and I know the front is the same thought summit had longer arms in the rear? Thanks for the help guys

RPM doesn't make the longer arms for the rear, I have the shorter Revo RPM arms on the digger and its fine, but the digger came with the shorter arms to begin with, it would shorten your rear wheel stance 10 mm

Aluminum arms + speeds over crawling = more broken parts.

Most people don't feel the loss in wheel base... you might wheelie more, but that would be it.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Do you guys think rpm will ever make longer arms for the summit. I don't want to give up the ride height.

it doesn't really do anything to ride height does it? just wheelbase I thought?

You are correct robl45... it does not effect ride height.

RPM has stated many times that they will not be making extended rear arms.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Heck...I couldn't even convince them to offer the short arms(rally/slash) in green...which is a color they already have.(I wanted a set for my KB Rally)
So I wouldnt hold my breath for those Summit longer rear arms.

I would like to chime in as I just went through this first hand

RPM doesnt make summit A-arms, as stated....
The REVO rear arms affects "Wheelbase" (front to rear) not "track width" (side to side)
NOW, here is the important part.....the front UPPER PRM arms WILL INTERFERE with the stock Summit shafts resulting in less suspension travel. Only the LOWER Arms on the front will fit and not change any geometry on the car!

    How unfortunate!

On mine...the shafts are rubbing on the stock Traxxas top arms(stock shafts also)

Well since I'm not to worried about doing 50mph and just want too do some light bashing here and there I just stick with the stock ones I guess, I haven't broken one yet (knocks on wood) but if I keep them stock will the upgrade of axles from summit to revo still work?

You can run the Revo plastic axles...but not the metal ones.(they are too short).
What also will help would be to swap out to the Revo rocker arms.

Not yet...but will probably be adding them really soon(like possibly tomorrow since it's torn completely down right now...see other thread).

In fact though...what I will do is put it all back together with the Summit rockers, take measurements and pics, then swap the rockers, then take more measurements and more pics.
