that will depend if the lipo is rated accurately as far as C rating goes.
You know you cant just run 1 4s lipo without capping off the other end of the esc lead.

As I understand it, the "c" rating is a measurement for how well battery can handle or allow an amperage draw. I don't think you'll see a change in performance. But what you would gain by going with 70c LiPo's is that they won't work as hard to supply the ESC/Motor on high amperage demands. On hard braking or hard throttle punches the amperage draw on the battery is high.

At least this how I've made sense of it all.

M n M is right on the info given as i have learned. High C ratings are good for brushless editions

I think a 30c battery is on the low side of being strong enough especially if its overrated.
I would probably accelerate better but not very noticeable

Ok I notice. When I used a bigger pinion there was some cogging I guess. That was not having enough amps form the batteries

The C rating does not mean a whole lot without any other info...
amperage capability calculations require mAh as well as C rating.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

but with no standard for C rating even that doesn't mean much

    Very true.

I would also like to add that experienced hobbyists know from experience or research which brands are more realistic with their C ratings.

I am running 2 2s 6000mAh 35c right now on a mm brushless set up. If i get two 2s 5900mAh 60c the only thing that woud really change is the run time with the more C? I am still new to LiPos. thanks

No tiny bit less run time from the smaller mah but more punch from the higher C rating
But of course that would depend on if they are the same brand as there us no standard for C ratings between battery companys. So they are free to exaggerate
