This is becoming a pretty "hot conversion" ! I was running the dual integy fans on 3S with 13/54 gearing and getting about 145 deg. When I put in "The Mega", it dropped me down to 115. Well worth the investment in time and money!

Looks cool. Could you please say what dimensions it is? Is it possible just to get the fan without heatsink?

Thermal paste helps draw the heat from the motor to the heatsink better than not having it on there by filling the microscopic air gaps and has better thermal conductivity than air but not metal.hope than helps.....peace

Thermal paste like the one I suggested contains "micronized silver" so the improved heat transfer is not surprising. Air is a great insulator so replacing the voids with any conductive substance is a win.

So I searched ezrun on google. Found zero regarding a fan for the stampede. Anyone have a link or more information where to get this fan? Does it come with a motor mount? Or do we have to modify it?

Funny, my zombie has been staring at a tube of thermal paste since my last computer build. It came in the syringe with my heatsink, but you can get it at most electronic stores. This one is Al + ZnO, no Ag:

It goes hard after a few years but it is easy to remove you just have to clean it with acetone or rubbing alcohol won't epoxy it together
