What did I do wrong? (Rear diff install)

I just installed a new rear diff and now my truck doesn't roll. When I push the truck forward all four wheels want to lock up. If I hold the front end up and push forward the front wheels spin backwards and vice versa. What did i wrong thanks

You put the diff in backwards. Rotate 180 degrees
Ring gear is facing the same side as the front should be opposite

Flip the entire rear diff...you have it in upside down.

Take the diff case out of the bulkhead and flip it over and put it back in

I did that years ago! Really makes you mad! Get it all done and ready to run, just to find out you have to do it all again!

Always good to take a marker and mark the top. I don't need to anymore as I have done so many!
