    Traxxas slash odd power deliviery

So recently, I broke the old motor on my slash. Called up Traxxas, sent me a brand new replacement for free. Thank you! Anyway, when installing I noticed the gear on the end was a 16, and the one on my old one was a 19. The 16 didn't mesh to well with my bigger gear, lot of bad rattling noise and horrible power delivery. So I mounted the 19 on my new motor, broke it in, and when I started giving it the gun, etc, I noticed that if I floored it from a stop, it would go way slower than the engine was revving. I think it catches up, but it's like theres less power being delivered.

Did you adjust your slipper? Mesh on right? Also make sure you have the pinion set correctly to the spur and that the motor is tightened down .

The 16t pinion meshes fine w/ the 90t spur, you have to adjust it, I guess the older slashes came w/ 19t pinion, now the newer ones seem to all be coming w/ 16t pinion

Motor is tightened down, everything meshes fine, car sounds great. It's just on both the 16t and 19t I gun it and it just doesn't go as fast as it used to.

Sounds like it has a broken or wore our slipper,The rattling noise could be a slipper pad,our the spur gear trans bearing.
