Problem with Blast

When I plug the battery in the boat motor starts to spin even with the switch is off. I have the radio on, and have control as I can speed the motor up and turn the wheel.

I have the throttle control on the remote all the way down.

Any advice on how I can fix this problem.

my boat startde doing the same thing last weekend it is the esc i am putting a xl-5 in my boat hope this helps

Which version of the ESC do you have? The newer blue one or the older black/gray one?

I have the newer blue one, it is less than a few weeks old.

Unfortunately I do not have any experience with that version of the ESC. Your best bet will be to contact Traxxas and see what they have to say.

if your esc is bad let me know, I have a brand new one I took out of mine to put a xl5 in, I'll drop the stock one in the mail if you need it.
