A Blast with the Traxxas Velineon system would be insane. It would be fast, but the hull isn't designed for all of that speed. The handling would be rather bad, I would imagine. It would be a cool project, but not the most practical thing to do.

I had my novak brushless system in my blast for a while. It was faster then my brother's nitro-vee.

    Yea

Me and a friend tried this, and let me tell you it was a fail. The motor spun too fast for the hull and it just kept rolling over. Similar to a helicopter, you would need something to counteract the spinning motion. We are going to put skegs on our boat and see ho that works.
