    Rally Roll Cage

From Carnage Racing, , here is a prototype picture of a roll cage made just for the Fiesta, Tornado and Focus bodies.

    That looks pretty cool.
A couple more mounting points would be nice.
Maybe some bars going down to the front servo screws and something more in the rear right to the chassis.
An X brace across the center would be nice too.
I wish I had the ability to build these.

I've been talking to the guys that make this and recommended a couple changes.
As it sits now it mounts to the front/rear body post mounts.
I suggested a couple more cross bars and 4 vertical bars with tabs to bolt it to the front holes on the servo mounts, and the rear battery vent cover screws.
I'll let you know what they say.

Well...he told me that he weighs 150 lbs and that he stood on it(mounted to his Rally) and nothing broke.

With an aluminum rear body post mount...I can see it being pretty sturdy.

Id actually rather chance it with the stock plastic or maybe even RPM, rather than the chance of force transferring to the chassis and breaking that.

    Yeah that makes sense.
I'm definitely getting one...and going to have it powdercoated to match the wheels.

Thats pretty cool. I like that its not all complicated, but I also agree with the general opinion of it having more mounting points.

Would love to see some nice green powdercoating action.

Well...been talking with them some more...and hopefully I'll be getting the first production unit.
Already talked to my powder coating guy...and he just happens to have some metallic lime green powder(almost identical to "Monster green").
    I can't wait.
