    Driveshaft pins keep breaking?

My 2 week old summit vxl, that I just got another stock battery and put them in series, it's pretty fast until about 2 minutes of driving it, the driveshaft pins keep breaking.

Is there a steel driveshaft I can?

The hobby person at my local hobby shop said to stiffen the shocks and that what I did but they still keep Popping off.

I don't not bash really at all

Should I adjust the spur gear?

stop running in series will probably help quite a bit.

try the merv drive shafts instead of the summit shafts.

Stock 16th scale Revo shafts are stronger than stock Summit shafts. Some have putting the Revo shafts in with Rustler u-joints in them for even more durability.

There is not a steel shaft I would recommend for the Summit. The good set, Traxxas 7151x, are made for the Revo and are not long enough for the rear of the Summit.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

x3 on the 1/16 e-revo shafts. The stock ones are very poor. I was surprised they are advertised as "extreme duty"by Traxxas, one of the reasons I picked the summit over the e-revo, however that claim is un-true in my case.

3 shafts in 2 weeks on the summit style, no breaks in 3 months on the e-revo style. So tack $40 on the price of the summit as the drive shafts will have to replaced.

That's why I swapped my rockers and rear arms over to Revo pieces and replaced the axles with Revo axles.
Much less breakage and negligible wheelbase and ground clearance loss.
