    Front arms are the same.
You can use the Summit axles until they break... the are the same length.
Toe links and push rods are the same.

Basically the only difference between the two are the body posts, body, rockers, rear arms, and gearing.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

really ur sure the links and rods are the same i thought they were longer seing as how they have to conect to longer rockers

The extended arms are the Summit arms. They fit all Traxxas 1/16ths.

The rods are the same... if you look on them they say P2/LT. The Revo rockers are P2. The Summit rockers are LT.
If there was a difference the rods would be shorter for the Summit, not longer.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

It doesn't drop it 5 inches, maybe a inch inch and a half max. The pic below is of a full (minus bumpers) Summit to Merv conversion. It sits just bit lower even when I put the summit wheels on it.

Just body, body mounts, wing, wing mount, P2 rockers 23 tooth pinion and TRX CVD's. The Summit already had Merv RPM A Arm and TRX aluminum push rods/toe links s when I bought it.

Yes front and rear. The fronts aren't necessary as they're the same as the summit anyway. I put RPM on all my rigs so they would've been switched regardless. The TRX aluminum toe links are made for the Merv/Summit they both use the same rods links, it doesn't matter what the pkg says they're identical.

3rd question: All except for the front arms.

    .

Yes many times. I even had 3 summit axels and one Merv axel on mine at one point before I got the CVD's.

Does the change make it more drivable? Is this the same process for the mini Slash aside from the obvious pieces like body, wheels, bumpers, etc.?

The Slash would need rods, links, axles, arms, gearing, tires, wheels, body, body posts, bumpers...
I would check the exploded views of each to double check.

Gotcha...appears they must have differing track widths...didn't realize that.

The shock pistons in the summit are different than the e revo the are red and have a smaller holes much better than the black e revo pistons in my opinion
