Slash 2WD Front and Rear Wheels

i have noticed that the stock wheels that come on the slash 2wd say either front or rear on them, and pro-line wheels also say they are for either the front or rear of the truck. what makes the front and rear wheels different, and is it okay to run rear wheels on the front or front on rear?

I believe the only thing is a small amount of offset difference I don't think it'll effect anything major

I put Proline Renegades on my Slash the truck went Narrow and when turning i had wheel hitting the arm thats why i had to upgrade to Proline Arms to widen the truck back to Original and keep the wheels from hitting the Traxxas arms was a pain in the BUTT trying to turn and a front wheel locks up

The front wheels are off set 1/4 inch wider for each tire than the rear ones. When you put front rims on the rear the tires will rub inside the body a little.

I run front wheels on the front and rear for a slightly wider stance... works ok on my track at home.

do you know of any ways to modify one to be like the other, especially with pro line split six one piece wheels?

Are you asking if you can modify a front wheel to be like a rear wheel and vice versa?

If so, no you cannot as the off set in the rim/wheel is fixed.

the front wheels on a 2wd slash have a lower offset than the rear which is wider. if you put the front wheels on the rear then the rear will have a wider track. if you put the rear wheels on the front then the front will look narrow and not very wide.

Unless your on a regulation track, the difference is hardly visible to the eye,so if your not racing where they are picky about that stuff i wouldn't worried to much about it.
