Don't know what I want next

So, I've been perusing the traxxas products page at all the different models and thought to myself, I need something new. But I don't know what I want to get. I have mostly everything from short course trucks to on road vehicles (aka my merv) What should I get next? Was looking at either a P4de or Slash 4x4. Price is no problem, just don't know what I want.

If you get a slash 4x4 get the lcg chassis or upgrade or something!

Why not go with a Rally? LCG chassis, handles quick! I love mine. It's totally different.

The rally is one of the more unique 1/10 vehicles traxxas makes. The fact that, for very little $$ it can be changed to an LCG slash is a bonus. But in terms of something "different"... the rally is about as different as a traxxas vehicle gets at the moment.

+1 on a rally or platinum slash, you can make either one into just about anything, what's important is you start with the best handling platform. You can make a 4wd buggy or monster truck off the same platform, and there's a number of less parts to worry about compared to an e-maxx or revo.

I really want another one too and been looking for a slash, but those are some really good points about the rally.
Almost couldn't go wrong with it, just buy an sc body and rims and tires and have two vehicles.
Their ya go....mind made up now just do it! Lol

Personally I want one of those ERBE. Unfortunately I don't got the money for one but got a brand new Nitro truck I would trade for one. The rally looks cool two but I got a Slash which is pretty close.

I've always liked the ERBE. I'd trade both my nitros for one.

Same the thing looks beast and the URC review really made me want it. I'm new to RC and decided after getting a slash and 30th digger I don't want to mess with Nitro just yet but to find a trade or sell it will me near impossible.

If you're going to run 6s better get some upgraded driveshafts, I was at a local private track the other day and guy broke 4 of em haha, I'm picking up my 2nd sct but 4x4 this time strictly for racing wish I could discuss on here but I'm sure I'll get banned or something, was going to get the slash platinum 4x4 but after research the past few days it's not going to be a good competitor in racing, I'm not putting it down or anything I love my slash 2wd and the 4x4 would be a even better basher, maybe after my race build I'll pick up a 4x4 slash

Yeah I should of added this but it can be a good racer if you put a lot of money into it but for it being an sct, coming out of the box it doesn't seem to have the potential, but maybe the newer platinum and ultimate w/ lcg chassis and gtr shocks will make a big difference cause that seems to be the original problem the high center of gravity and ridiculous shocks, even w/ different shock oils the stock shocks just don't do anything, but the slash 2wd which I own is a top of the line basher and I'm sure the 4x4 is a lot better

Yeah the improvments make it alot better but you would still need to replace the power system.

yea I like the velineon system but seems more of a basher system to me but it's definitely a good system, I'm going to go sensored on my race build

Well you said you have most everything from sc to on road so get a p4de or summit or maxx something straight off road if you want it to bash a lot with pede is hard to beat 2 or 4wd ....

From what I've been reading it would be best to run it on 4s. If I get one that's what I'm gonna do.

I already have a summit and a TMaxx. I'm gonna make the ERBE an all on road truck with foam tires and 6s lipos. Plus I'll get the steel drive shafts and all metal gears.

I would save your money and stay away from the steel cvds. Get the summits and replace when nedded, that thing on 6s is gonna eat whaever you throw at it.

    Lucky you! I need some.
I also ditched the 48 pitch spur and pinon and went mod 1 and I would probably keep plastic spur espeicially if your gonna run 6s. Just my humble opion from my experience.

ERBE and the 1/10th rally interested me, but the ERBE was waaay out my price ran ge. Went with the good ol' rusty in the end, it's been a good forgiving beginner truck
