Motor not turning

So I have had a Summit for about 2 years now. Went about 6+ months without using it. Recharged the batteries and it would run very slowly for about 5 minutes. Figured it was the batteries. Decided to order a new Titan 775 motor while I was at it. Swapped out the motor without issue. Put in these batteries (11.1V 5000mAh 25C Li-Polymer Battery Pack) from Tenergy. Everything powers up (ESC was red so activated I activated the Lipo function and that turned it green) and the lights all come on and steering works without a hitch. However, I cannot get the motor to turn. It tries when I randomly hit the throttle several times, but only for a quick burst (without wheel movement.) So I decided to hook up the old motor again and it does the same thing. Is it the batteries I bought? They power everything else just fine. I'm stumped. Thanks ahead for any ideas!

Are you using the stock ESC?
If so, it is only rated for twin 2S batteries... not 3S.

Over volting the system if you are running a pair of 11.1v batteries on the stock setup. .
Surprised it didn't start smoking.

Oh no another fried ESC is in someone else Summit if not now it will happen later you keep using those 3's batteries.

I figured it was the batts. Whih do you recommend for the best replacement batts for it?
