another e-revo build with lst2 diffs

so i bought my erbe about a year ago since then it has only had about 10 sets of packs but every time i drove the truck somthing broke so i got traxxas cvds and exploded 3 sets of tires stock tires had about 10 mins on them then my badlands got about 6 sets of packs out of those then mashers on beadlocks and during all that blew 6 diffs and 1 broken front bulk but that was me hitting a parked car while racing with friends at work lol. sorry for the rambling but i got on a roll. So after sitting on a shelf for 4 months a decided to buy some much needed strength for the revo this included lst2 diffs, traxxas tubes, traxxas red pushrods, traxxas center cvds, proline trenchers mounted on tech 5s the measure 6.8"hx 3.5"w so they arnt the super wide ones. and as soon as someone can tell me how t post pics i would love to post my pics of the progress

We will need your address to find out where to send flowers for the funeral when your wife or mom finds out you were building RC cars on her table!

My wife is great, not many like her. But she would have a cow if I even thought about this. I can get away with simple stuff in the breakfast nook table (I dont even sneeze on the formal dining room table!) if I put a pad down and a cover. But not a diff rebuild!

I cant complain though. I have the entire basment for my Man cave, all 1200 ft of it and the family room is my decor and lounging hole too. The rest of the house is hers! LOL. But thats OK because she knows not to walk on my lawn or even look at it funny in the spring while Im seeding and prepping and not to leave her junk in my garage or shed!

//////runs to call mydudrevo's wifey to rat him out!

In any marriage the Dining room, kitchen, and formal livingroom belong to the wifey, no questions asked!
Although in my house the Kitchen is mine until its time to clean it! LOL I do 99% of the cooking but Im good with that. Beats what she is doing while Im cooking......Kids homework, Laundry, vaccuming, and the list goes on then she cleans the mess I made from cooking dinner. We both work and she brings home darn near as much as I do as the operations manger for a large firm carrying two masters degress in business management and marketing that she got a full ride on to an IVY league school rowing those narrow crew boats.

no because i my new tires are 1.5"s taller than my previous setup so i think it will even out and to anyone that has considered the losi diff mod but thought it may be a little to difficult. just do it it is super easy way easier than i anticipated just do it i followed mistercrashes thread closely pretty much read it like a bible lol

Hope you didn't grind too much material away. Some have had the cases crack from grinding too much

agreed, your next step is grinding the bulks more and the diffs none/less, and then the bulks are too weak, and then welcome to the abyss. i am liking again my integy grinded even if they bend.

take it one step further and put losi cvd's as well. all you need is 8 more bearings, the cvd set, some 8mm hexes, and a bit of knuckle modifying. easier than the diffs and really good mod. i haven't touched anything there for a year.

I think It's key to grind the cases and the bulks evenly and though it looks like I did a lot to the cases I didn't I did them very light with a roloc medium disc and about the esc it's not mounted lost the stupid screws

They should. If you bought them new, and they broke that quickly, that could mean a bad part. Just shoot'm a call and explain what happened, and also say you got a picture to prove it so they won't think your some kid trying to get free parts.

You can try the Kershaw Desighs LST2 dogbone kit for Erevo as they are no longer on back order now.

If its not breaken then your not racing.
