    A little more ground clearance

Looking at trying to get a little more ground clearance out of an old Rusty. I'm sure it has been done-just need some ideas. Is it as simple as adding bigger/taller wheels or possible shocks off a Stampede or a combo. Need some ideas-the cheaper the better.
    Thanks

I put proline Moabs on mine. Raised it up a lot. Rides pretty good offroad.

I really like the Proline Badlans. They are almost 5" tall which is a lot bigger than the 4" tall tires they come with. I am in the process as we speak of making the chrome black and adding badlands up front as well.

No, well i didnt do anything different other than mounting them. Some people will say to upgrade the steering servo when adding bigger wheels and tires due to the stress of turning much larger wheels. Also, change the gearing ratio to make up the difference in rolling mass. IE bettter get up and go. I havent changed anything and eerything has been fine. I will change the servo soon though

I put on a set of Proline trenchers. Tons of grip plus a little extra ground clearance.

Thanks. All I use it for is bashing and it has held up pretty well. I have waterproofed everything and updated the servos to 2075 for a little extra torque for the big tires. I also had to run a 18t clutch bell and 70t spur gear because of the big tires. She still wheelies pretty well though.
