    Will a tm523 carb fit a 3.3?

    Hello
    could anyone please help me here please...
    I have a jato 3.3. I have been seeing that alot of people upgrade there carb to the tm523.
    I just bought the rb 8mm carb from amainhobbies.com and been told that it will fit my 3.3 with no modifications?????
    Please any info would be a big help

    Yes they fit and work great. The only thing you need to do is cut the plastic isolator off and grind a little flat spot in the front of the carb for clearance. You can use a file to do this.

    Well I installed the carb two days ago. I will tell you it unleashed a beast. Now very easy to tune. Faster than ever.
    Everyone should upgrade to this carb. TRAXXAS should have updated the carb when they released the 3.3.
    The inner diameter of a TRAXXAS stock carb is 6.5 but with the bigger piston and sleeve it should be 8
    This testing was done by engineer friend of mine and this is the reason I upgraded to the 8mm
    I clocked it yesterday at 72mph with very little mods.

    Thats awesome im just a little curious thow. What tires and what was your gear ratio you were running to hit 72mph?
