Traxxas aluminum caster block question...

I currently have the traxxas aluminum caster blocks (part num:6832X) on my 4x4 stampede.

Here's my question:
Can the aluminum caster block fit on the Tekno steering blocks (See pic below):


If the traxxas aluminum caster blocks doesn't fit, what aftermarket aluminum caster blocks can I use to pair it with the Tekno steering blocks?

I would guess so as the ally castor block is a direct copy of the stock one is it not? May want to wait for further confirmation or email Tekno RC. :-)

Hmmm, if you think about it your right since the stock traxxas caster block fits directly over the Tekno steering blocks and the alum traxxas caster block is a direct copy of the stock caster block. I'm now telling myself this... "DUH!"

I'll try to email Tekno RC as well to confirm.

From what I've seen your only choice is the plastic tekno's.

Tekno does not sell any plastic caster blocks for the stampede 4x4. They only have steering blocks and rear bearing carriers for the stampede 4x4, hence my post.

tekno steering blocks are made to fit either the plastic c-hubs or the aluminum so they should work without a problem, the only difference with the tekno steering block is they use a bigger bearing so you have to use their steering block or change the bearing size if you want to use a diff steering block.

Yup! Your right man. The Tekno steering blocks look real beefy with bigger bearings, which I like.

i use all XO-1 to pair with my tekno CVD's its the only way for me to make up the lenght of PL protrac arms.

Tekno makes bones for the protrac kit.

i bought the tekno kit for stock arm length purposely to make up with XO-1 stubs and carriers/C-block. if i use the protrac bone it will be too long too.
