Monster Mutt Body install...Can be done!

Been wanting to install a Monster Mutt Body on my Stampede 4x4. But people seemed to think it was to much work. But found a way that uses stock parts. And wasn't to tough.

First, I took the front body mount 6715 and cut out the center. Next you simply swing in the post into correct width.

Next the back. Which was a little more work.
Same idea, cut out the center 6815R and swing back. But the post needed to be moved in.. after a little trial and error found the sweet spot.

The back is slightly lower. Taller post would fix that easy.

I do wonder if use of the RPM mounts would have been better. Maybe next Tower order.

way cool. Thanks for showing this. Im putting together a Pede 4x4 for my neighbors brother who is 18 and very autistic and loves my Revo 3.3. He comes running out like the ice-cream truck is coming when he hears my Revo lol. Hes really only has the mind set of a 10 year old so i figured this would work better for him with the training modes and all. Hes big into monster jam so ill have to find out who his fav driver is and do a monster jam body for him. SO thanks again for the idea.

I would connect the two pcs. you cut back together with some kind of brace to keep them in position. Otherwise, when you hit something they're going to swing and you'll probably rip out the mounting holes in the body.

Thats the Masher 2000 on RPM Revolvers WIDE, is the only 2.2 version that fits.
