    Love the Rally, but...

Since the stock body gets pretty beat up offroad, and the front bumper digs in over some jumps at the local track, I swapped the bumpers to the slash bumpers. Picked up the Proline Rally body (RS14, looks better in person, but still not near as nice as the stock Rally body).

Anyone else have issues with the front bumper and the body getting trashed so quickly? Mine cracked in multiple places at both front wheel wells

Hopefully someone comes up with an alternative bumper meant more for offroad, and we see some aftermarket bodies soon. I really like the way the Rally looks, and everyone at the track has commented on how quickly the Rally gets around the track.

That looks pretty good. I thought about doing that, or maybe even cutting the bumper to fit inside the body, but then no support if I land a jump wrong. I also want a more durable body.

I just finished cutting the Proline body, and let me say, I have run monster trucks, truggies, buggies, on road, and 1/5 scale. This body is by far the thickest most solid feeling body I have ever felt!

hey, I did the same thing, I thought about cutting mine like that too, but I wanted more ground clearance, so I cut some off the bottom too..... I like the looks of yours better.

Here's my Rally with the T-bone bumper. I purchased both front & rear. I have yet to install the rear bumper though.

That looks like it would be worse for offroad?

Think it's meant more for street use. It mounts after the stock bumper. So yes its lower to the ground. 90% of my driving is on road so it doesn't bother me.

Repost in the sl4sh forum, ask for a pick of the sl4sh front bumper/bulkhead on a lcg chassis. I only make this suggestion because many owners there have the bumper or pix to show you all ready on hand. Vs a few forum members in the rally forum with a sl4sh bumper. If you've ever looked at the older sl4sh, then there ya go. The top and bottom are exactly the same, still the same bumper, mounting points, just a differ chassis between the towers.
