Hot motor

I am very new to the rc world. My nitro sport is running very hot. Is this normal? If not what can I do to fix this?

Since you are new it is best to learn how to tune the engine. A hot engine means that it is lean so you'll need to richen it up. Also, if you haven't cut a hole out of the windshield in front of the cooling head so that air can pass through it. Big thing though is the tune.

Welcome to the forums. How hot is "hot?" Use an IR temperature gauge on the glow plug...it's an indispensable tool with glo engines (electric motors too).
