LOL, someone was reading the forums here with all the people doing it by buying the same parts and finally marketed it as a kit.
Is the LCG that much better if your just going to bash?
For just bashing, I'd say 50/50. Here's some of the benefits:
- almost always landing right-side-up
- much less rollover during turns
- more control in jumps
- the traxxas lcg chassis design lets debris settle below the center shaft and electronics, so there's less damage.
If you don't have any issues with the above stuff on your current slash, then it wouldn't be worth it.
New Traxxas Slash 4X4 Owner... I haven't had much of a chance to tear down my Slash or do much maintenance on it.
I'm interested in the LCG kit. It would be a great help if someone could post a video showing the conversion.

No, Unfortunately I bought it just before the LCG's were released. I have model # 6807. I'm happy with the way it runs, but may want to go for the LCG kit for the benefits it provides.

Personally I would go with the STRC LCG. That's what I did even though I have LCG already.
