good looking pede youve got there, nice investment too,....
i suggest you should have stainless screw set for your pede, less rust, less work, save time, good looks, simple upgrade that will last,......

You will never go wrong with the T-bone racing front bumper and servo guard.

I run one on mine as well!

Hellz yeah, I love the look of it, and now not so worried about smacking into stuff.

Knowlwdge that I was able to glean while researching my build was that stainless hardware was much too soft for bashing, and should be avoided. Maybe others can chime in.
    Someone stole my signature.

Stock hardware if as long as you spray some dry silicone lube over them it will keep rust freebeen doing it for over two years and still all good....peace

Looks top. Tip for the light bar....Make sure your shell has no chance of flexing and hitting the wires. I eventually lost all four lights. They are connected in two series. I have had to get new LED's and re-solder. This time I trimmed the lowered shell and duct taped the wires to better protect it.

After reading all these awesome threads, I'm going to shoe goo and drywall tape the lid for extra strength.

I was wondering if the lid would get in the way of the wires. Thanks for the heads up!

No probs. I run the 50's pede shell. When that eventually crumbles I think I'll get the 70's like you. Nice looking truck and apparently more durable than mine. The 50's shell seems crack a lot near the cab. More tape and glue than lexan these days.

Its been a while since I last posted on this forum. So I thought I would share what my Stampede 4x4 has become.

    The Parts List :

I thought it was time to beef up the slipper clutch:

1 x TRA5352R Traxxas Slipper Clutch Rebuild Kit
1 x TRA5351 Traxxas Revo Slipper pressure plate and hub (alloy)

I got these just to make her look better

    1 x TRA3934 Traxxas Heavy Duty Body Clips (12)
    1 x TRA3935 Traxxas Body Clips (angled, 90-degrees) (10)
    1 x TRA1747R Traxxas 4mm Aluminum Flanged Serrated Nuts (Blue) (4)
1 x TRA5186A Traxxas Aluminum Wheelie Bar Wheel Set w/Rubber Tires (Blue) (2)
1 x TRA3767A Traxxas Aluminum Ultra Shock Cap (Blue) (4)

I somehow destroyed my front differential so I decided to go heavy duty and installed the XO-1 diffs in both front and rear.

2 x TRA5379X Traxxas Differential Ring Gear & Pinion Gear
    1 x TRA5136X Traxxas Differential Oil Kit (10K, 30K, 50K)
    2 x TRA6882X Traxxas Differential Gear Set
2 x TRA3978 Traxxas Carrier Differential Heavy Duty

    I upgrade to these too.

1 x TRA1952X Traxxas Rear Stub Axle Carriers (Blue) (2)
1 x TRA6832X Traxxas Aluminum Caster Block Set (2) (Blue)
1 x TRA6837X Traxxas Aluminum Steering Block Set (Blue) (2)
    3 x TRA5116 Traxxas 5x11x4mm Ball Bearing (TMX 3.3,Revo) (2)
    1 x TRA5119 Traxxas 10X15X4mm Ball Bearing (2)
    1 x MIP12140 MIP 12mm X-DUTY Keyed CVD Hex Adapter Set (2)
    1 x MIP11109 MIP Traxxas X-Duty Rear CVD Kit (Stampede 4x4)
    1 x MIP11110 MIP Traxxas X-Duty Front CVD Kit (Stampede 4x4)

My Trenchers are almost a year old so I decided to try out the Badlands.

    2 x PRO1173-12 Pro-Line Mounted 30 Series Badlands 2.8 w/Desperado Nitro Rear Wheels (Black) (2)

Time to strengthen the motor mount and center driveline, so I purchased these:

1 x TRA6890X Traxxas Aluminum Motor Plate (Blue)
1 x KHZ-TRX-6860T King Headz Traxxas Slash 4x4 Aluminum Motor Mount w/Telemetry Mount
    1 x TRA6877A Traxxas Gear Cover (Clear)
1 x TKR6755 Tekno RC Big Bone Center Driveshaft & Outdrive Kit
1 x TRA5351 Traxxas Revo Slipper pressure plate and hub (alloy)

Man, I think that is it! I better not show the wife this post!
