I was using 2 3s **** tech 3000mah 20c lipos. They are not high end 3s batteries so it was not over powered but just enough to get over the gap. This was not actually the second show for jumping. It was after I made the jump a couple times during the first show was when we got the idea to put the gopro on the truck. Our team does many monster truck shows. Its always great to see the mx ramp. If there is no mx ramp then our team has a couple bigger ramps that we can use. With the landing ramp parts tend to break a lot less. I hit that jump multiple times the first show and came back with a small break on a rear a arm that was probably broken from before. It was a great time!

3000 ~ 20c is way under rated, if you have a MMM.....

Nope no wing. Did not even run the bumper. We have a wing mount somewhere in the r/c room but if you run the wing it tend to break chassis more easily if you land upside down.

Wow that "flew" pretty straight. If I don't have the wing on, it is all over the place.
    Thanks for the vid...

Towards the end you have one shot where it's almost slow motion where you maintain control the entire time after nose up. Kudos sir, very well done.

We use to do that at freestyle shows. Its good fun to put the dirt bike down time to time and take out the RC's I got to see how far I can jump my Erevo, right now i'm limited by speed.

That kind of jumping was just a blast! Not breaking a billion parts landing on flat ground was a very nice to have. I dont think i will ever top this go pro shot for a long time.

A little bit of throttle control is all it takes. I was standing off to the side of the ramp and knew the general angle of the landing ramp. The tires dont balloon that much witch makes it way more stable in the air. Backflips are almost to easy to do now.

    Dang, that's some hang time!

I got to do an intermission at a monster jam event once a few years ago. It was an outdoor event at a fair ground, and it rained all day so the track was a muddy mess, but still fun, and huge air off the ramps.

I tried a wing mount on my T-maxx once and bent an FLM tower on a bad landing. I was hoping it would protect the body, but it was worse than not having it. Not a bash worthy mod!
