    Rear diff. slop? Upgrades?

I've noticed a lot of play/slop in the rear end where the MIP axles affix to the rear diff.? I've even replaced the rear diff. (stock) with a new one thinking that this may solve the problem but it ways seems to loosen up? All the grub screws are tight and the bearings are good but still have this issue. Is there a good aluminum rear diff. housing out there that would eliminate this persistent slop I'm experiencing? Thanks.

Can you explain the slop a little better?
In and out movement at the outdrives?
If so this is remedied by shimming The diff assembly within the housing and the differential pinion gear.
Search diff shimming in the ERBE section, its more of an issue there but the same concept.

No, more lateral or side to side. You can hold the out drives and wiggle them side to side right where they attach to the rear diff.

Sounds like the diff housing is either worn or loose. Its either that or the bearings.
Traxxas part # 6880 for the rear and 6881 for the front.

Sounds like shimming would cure that.
