    Front end rebuild help

I did the rear diff last week and today decided to do the front end however hit a couple of snage putting it back together.

Firstly why the big gap on the left wishbone?

Secondly can anyone tell me where these go on the hinge pins?

    Pics would be very helpful

4 shims go on the upper front a-arm. im loading a pic quick. the a-arm is all the way forward, and 4 shims go on the end of the pin that goes throught the upper front arm.

this is on the stock summit front bulk/arms. that might fix your gap to. other side also needs 4 shims. so you need 8 total.

There is 1 screw that holds the bulkhead together for assembly.
Diff might be installed upside down, or not aligned right in the slots.
If everything is installed right, just squeeze the bulkheads together.

yes, your top pic shows 2 shims. it needs 4. plus in lower pic. you see the pin gap in front. it should stay bare. mine is stock, and i see the whole gap. dont know why traxxas didnt put shims there also. its only that side of bulkhead that shows a gap on the front.

The shims are used to set your caster, you can put all 4 together, or 1 and 3, 2 and 2, etc.. As long as 4 are used on each corner.
