    New AMR body wrap

Thought I would post a few pics of my new Amr body wrap I picked up.

I didn't get all the air bubbles out, but most of them.

    Looks pretty cool.
I have wondered how much heavier the make the body.

For the air bubbles, try a putting a needle in the center.
This will allow the air to escape letting you smooth out the bubble.

Thanks guys. Glad you like it. I've been so busy with family activities lately. So much footage to edit and projects to finish.
I started airbrushing but really like these wraps. They hold up well especially with shoe goo etc, We beat them pretty good and they have surprised me as to how well they hold up. I try and get almost all the bubbles out. Since we run castle motors and just bash i don't worry about the added weight. The extra weight is minimal and I don't mind since the wrap helps to stiffen the body and protect against damage.

Hope to see some pics of that wrap when done Digger!!!

The AMR Racing Rc wraps hold up well. I have a bash test review video on my youtube channel you can see. The other wrap I have has been beaten like a ginger just like this one is going to be.

The wraps will hold up well they are really thick. AMR also makes real car wraps and it's the same material.

Looks good. How hard are these wraps to put on? It looks like they might be a real effort to get right.

It's not bad at all. Best thing is to start at the hood, lay in place, then carefully apply. I recommend using a heat gun so that the glue adheres to the body better, if not a hair dryer will make due. If you take your time you can keep most bubbles from happening. I've done 2 so far and soon working on a 3rd. It takes anywhere between 45-60 minutes to apply them. That's doing a nice clean job. A body with less definition is faster and easier to do. I find them really worth it in my opinion.

When I first looked into these I talked to AMR Racing RC about the best technique. Craig over there told me the best way to do it for it to come out best. If you arent so good at painting or detail work or possibly want something that will keep the body together for a longer period of time these things are the best.

DKnuckles has a video on them. Might even have an install. I have a thread that's pretty basic on how to install. I can link you to it if you like.

I'd love to try these out if they had better graphics options. Looks like they put out a semi-normal one for the JConcepts F250.

Thanks for the compliment. These wraps do hold up well. I install ours like Digger stated. I start to use my heat gun after I have everything layed out where I want it. I just did a update vid on my last wrap. She's held up to a lot of abuse so far.

    Thanks.

It's a Proline F150 SVT Raptor body for a pede. The wrap is Widow Maker. I love it very clean looking.

AMR has a ton of designs. You can get almost any of the designs they have for the bodies listed. Just because you don't see the kit listed under the body you have doesn't mean you can't get it. Just contact them about the design you want on what body!!!

Once you see one in person, then you'll appreciate the quality of them. These are a thick layered wrap. I promise you they are worth every penny.
