If you are not going to be using it for 2 or more days,it should be kept at 3.85 v per cell.that is storage voltage.
That is best for the health of the battery
Sent using lipo power
Mountains cant stop me
they have tried
Options?
Run it in the vehicle... or find a way to hook a light of the proper voltage to it.
BE SURE TO MONITOR CELL VOLTAGES IF USING THE LIGHT METHOD.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
To discharge a Lipo , I use a 1157 auto bulb and a LVD with buzzer set at 3.9v and unplug it at 3.85 per cell , This works for me .
1 Rusty VXL + 1 Villain EX Boat
If each a cell is 3.7v then how do you discharge them to 3.85? I'm confused
Fully charged LiPo cells are 4.2 volts. 3.7 is just a nominal charge.. the same that 1.2 is just nominal for NiMh.
Haven't you noticed a 8.4v NiMh can have over 10 volts?
