    Question NiMh batteries

    ive devided i dont really want to go to lipo... what would be the best NiMh battery for the mini summit?

    thanks!! if i was going to get the venom 1600mah would my ezpeak 2 amp charger work for it?

    That charger will Charge it alittle to quick but i would Go with the Thunder AC6 or the onyx 235 i am getting the onyx cause i have one now and i love it!! My friend has the Thunder AC6

    I say You can go .2 more amps more and be okay on the battery EXample: 1.6 battery and charge at 1.8 that saafe but 2.0 that pushing it but it will still work fine!!! just your battery wont last as long maybe 5-10 charges less till its not fun to drive cause of power issues

    Lipo and Nimh unless you want something cheap and just to charge little batteries and nimh only

    Okay im sorry not a professionail just a 13 yr old kid.. i say the best charger is the onyx 220 for you it charger from 10 milla to 5amps so you can charge your pack excactly at 1600mah!!!

    The onyx 240 is a good charger too, it's a dual charger so you can do two at once and charge rates are 0.8, 1.5, 3.0 and 5.0 amps so you would be fine charging those 1600's at 1.5.

    You could also set your ez peak to charge at 1 amp and that would work, it would take a long time though.

    Anyone have any experience with 1600mah nimh batteries for their 1/16 summit? do they last about the same as the 1200 stock ones or a little longer?

    Thunder ac6 is known as a battery cooker. Wont help the life of your battery. Decent battery and good charger will go a long way

    Not that much difference maybe 25% bigger but for power and run time you need more voltage

    I know I working on Lipo set up but it will be a few weeks but I'm ordering summit Jr today with extra pack so was just wondering

    just curious can you run a 1200mah and a 1600mah nihm bats in parallel and or series since they are different mah but same volts
