Chain Tires

Getting it done for the first time. It was snowing again and a lot of snow banks outside to crawl, so I did my chain tires today and see what I did.

Kind a bit loose, but I'll get it done soon.

Good idea.... but wrong chain... u need chain twice that thickness and a different chain pattern too. A better pattern with more bite, those links u have dont have much bite. I just did a set for a 1/16 Summit with larger chain then that.

Hanging flower pot chain works great and easy to work with too, cheap and make it almost unstoppable in the snow and ice

Yes your right, I start using with that one tire, just a bit of a grip, and that chain is hard to do I spend 2 hours linking each other. Good looking anyway. LOL!

I tried 2 chains on front tires tonight, and it was really fun to drive! It was a bit wet snow outside.
Was fun to watch the front tires kick the snow into the air!

I've had really good luck with my # 14 jack chain from the local hardware store. 30' was about 17 bucks.

The trencher tires are very good on any surface , but in snow , the chain help a bit more !

Yes , on winter , the summit is my king in the snow , i got a lot of fun with it ! For summer , nothing beat the boat ! When i saw your chain , it just seen to small , that s why i show you mine , i love the amount of traction i gain with it !
