    xl 5 and stinger 20 turn 540 ?

I'm putting the xl5 ecs out of my sons digger into his blast boat so that it will have reverse, might as well since I have it just sitting here after going brushless in the digger.

With the stock nautica ecs it said 6 cell 7.2v is the limit for the that ecs, with the xl5 and the stinger 20 turn 540 could I run a 7 cell 8.4v for a little more power?

I would have posted this in the blast section but it doesn't get much action and I figured this is just a ecs limit ? anyway, thanks for any info

Should be fine. XL5 comes with a 12T in the on road rigs.

It should be fine. I ran the stinger 20t in the 4tec on 7-cells with no problems. The stinger is just a mabuchi 20t 540 with a traxxas sticker on it, they're good motors.

I just bought a blast and swapped out the esc for an xl5 with lvc, and modded the battery tray to fit a traxxas 2s 5800mAh LiPo, I haven't had a chance to run it yet though.
    I need R/Cers anonymous.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like its a go, I still have to look into modding the battery tray.
