Traxxas 2s balancing.

After I charged my battery the voltage was not same for each cell. I was curious what a normal difference is in cell voltage.



Here's the difference shown on the charger display.

In my opinion, that is too much difference.

I would call Traxxas and bring it to their attention.

Traxxas told me that .05 difference is the most they can be off . I've a 3s power cell and the 2nd cell is like way off , I tryed a different charger . He told me try using ( TRAXXAS LIPO Power cell BATTERY CHARGER 2-cell 3-cell TRA..2935 . ) So I both that charger and it took like 9 hrs to charge with the same result , #2 c still low so I'm looking into different Lipos .

It happened with onother one of my batteries too. I'm starting to think this charger is acting up. Every so often it gives me a cell connect error message. But it's intermittent. Time to upgrade my charger I guess.

Since you have a Traxxas charger... and the charger is acting up... doesn't Traxxas warranty their chargers too?

yes traxxas does warranty their chargers not sure how long from the date of purchase but doesnt hurt to ask anyways. that is way off. mine is only .03 off but its because of my charger only reason. A good charger will not do that i have had that happen with 2 different lipo brands same results still. Good luck.
