Help older 1/16 summit fine then down on power

My 2 year old 1/16 summit vxl that I havent touched in over a year I took out today. First lipo through it no problems. Next pack starts off ripping like the first then 1/4 of a way into the pack it just dies. Then I bring it inside and the wheels are slowly turning at full throttle. There is no binding and the pack (2s 2200 ******* is in good shape with low internal IR). Help, this thing has sat for a while but it was stored in great
like I said ran great the first pack today. Also outside temps were 28 degrees F today ESC and motor were ice cold.

I have seen stock "working" servos cause all kinds of electrical issues.

+1 Jimmie's comment...keep your LiPo packs warm on cold days before using. I leave mine in the car with the heater on, or in an inside jacket pocket.
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot
