    Velineon VXL-3S ESC issue

So I bought a VXL Stamp today along with a Venom LiPo battery from a LHS. When I push the EZ Set button to turn the ESC on the LED stays lit Green while the button is depressed, but turns Red as soon as I let go of the button. I want to run the LiPo battery and want to make sure that I am protected. I played with it alot and couldn't keep the green light on. What I am missing here?

    Thanks, Howard.

Are you holding the button down for a full ten seconds?

I hold it down, it starts green for four seconds, turns to red for for seconds and then goes into the program mode for Sport, Race, Training. At anytime I let go of the button, the lights turns and stays red.

Make sure the esc is turned on normally first. Then hold the button in for 10 seconds.

I am thinking of the XL5 way to get it into LVC. It shouldn't turn off, just change the light from red to green indicating LVC.

What does your instruction sheet say to do?

Yep, just like the XL 5. Glad you got it worked out.
