    how to strip anodizing from aluminum chassy

    i bought this purple aluminum chassis from ebay. how do you strip the anodized paint. my only option was to use a media blaster. here is a pick. i miss my ole 3906 so bad that here is a new start.

    Have you tried oven cleaner. Years ago I had some aircraft remover that would strip anything http://m.summitracing.com/parts/rll-255448

    I used 50% caustic soda. But whatever you use, use proper safety precautions.

    Yes, I my iphone likes to autocorrect everything! Keep us posted on how the quads stack up. I'm always for extra runtime, but wonder how the extra weight would effect the drivability.

    I know about the addiction! I've had my 3906 since my summer before high school, so around ten years now. I'm just getting back into it now, so I got excited when I saw your build being a 3906!
