    E-Maxx 16.8 & Summit, can I run 3S Lipo?

The stock brushed trucks are using the same ESC, and I believe both are considered 16.8 volt speed controllers, correct? That being true as I suspect, I can only utilize the 2S batteries in these vehicles? Would the 3S equal 22 volts as I suspect and being so, they would destroy my electronics if I understand this correctly. Both trucks are stock ESC and stock Traxxas Titan motors.

The old non-LVD EVX2 could handle 3S on the nonBEC side and 2S on the BEC side giving you 5S voltage.

They cannot run twin 3S batteries.

The new LVD version can only run twin 2S batteries.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

That takes care of that. I'll buy some more 2S packs then. I thought that if they could handle the 3S packs, I may as well step up to them. It's probably best this way, I'll break far less parts by staying conservative with horsepower.
