    ERBE 2s or 3s???

im getting back into the hobby after a 4 year break and im jumping right in with a erevo BE im sure that is has been asked a hundered times but im wanting to know which would be better for the out of the box stock truck the 2s or 3s (2 packs of coarse) im more than likely going to just run it where ever not real interested on high speed runs at this point im looking more for long lasting durability so thats why im asking. any comments or advise is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Go 2s but go as big as you can! Spc has some 8200 batteries that fit and I would upgrade the drivetrain before running 3s. Shim the diffs would be on top of my list
Most are out of stock but due at the end of the month http://spcracing.com/index.php?categ...3&show_all=yes

I would also suggest getting the castle link to tweak punch control and acceleration curves before going putting 3s into the truck, makes everything much more controllable with all the power.

depends on how hard on the throttle & breaks you are........

start with 2/2s geared for 21/54 low 50mph........

I run 2/3s...tap into your esc with the CC Filed link programmer (sold separately) and set your punch, torque, brake and reverse settings. This is how I set mine...it will give you an idea on how to customise. I'm running 21/58 at the moment but if you heavy on the throttle with constant acceleration your motor will run hot.

If you take it easy on the throttle and braking you should get some life out of you diff

I run mine on 2s with 21/40 gearing and it's quite difficult to drive on asphalt, wheelies or spins out when it hits full throttle.
haven't had the opportunity to drive it off road anywhere since it's been so cold.

21/40! Do you have any heat issues?
    Don't try this at home!

I run 2/3s all the time...forever changing my gearing; it mixes it up for me. I also only use my eRevo as a dirt and grass basher now.

I'm running Black F and Pink R with 60W shock oil at the moment...its working for me.
