Baja Bug Body

Has anyone tried fitting the Baja Bug body on the rally? I saw one posted in the gallery, but the pics wouldn't work?

Hello & welcome to the forum -eric!!

It says it fits the Slash 4x4, but you will need to remove the nerf bars. I also think you will need to remove the stock Rally bumper and replace it with maybe a Slash 4x4 or RPM one??

Length: 19.3" (489mm)
Width: 7.5" (191mm)
Height: 6.0" (152mm)
Wheelbase: 12.5" (318mm)
Thickness: .060" (1.5mm)

I have yet to see one mounted to my knowledge. Hope this helps ya!!!

Yes, I did. Looks awesome. I'm trying to get the pics working.
I used the slash front body mounts and front bumper.

I got no idea why I can't attach files. If gone through the FAQs but no luck as of yet

I should have taken one of the rear... i can do that today. The stock Rally bumper looks like the engine cages they would put on Baja bugs.

A Baja body works great, I used the Rally rear bumper and a RPM SC10 front bumper.

Can you take a pic of the slash body mount for me. I can't figure out where to mount it on the shock tower. I take it you used the rally rear mount? Thanks

I just installed the JConcepts Bajr body on my Rally. Here are the pics.




I used some of the stickers that came with the Rally.

I used the stock Slash body mounts for the front and rear, because the spacing matched the dimples where you are supposed to drill the holes. I put the slash bumper on the front to go over stuff. And i put the RPM slash bumper on the rear, but I cut it down because it stuck out too far.

I love that red Baja body. Do they fit stampedes?

Not really sure, but with a little creativity, you can make almost anything fit. Mostly it would depend on the wheel base.

Those are PL Switch tires, a very good alternate to the Trencher.
