    Motor Shroud?

Got the Dusty Motors Shroud and was wondering if I could just slap the velcro on or if I needed to prepare the plastic.

Should I be fine if I just stick the Velcro on there? Planning to go bash tomorrow because they need my Summit in a game at m Church Youth Group, and I want the cover on. Last time I ended up running my Slash through 2 Gingerbread Castles and cleaning candy out of my Summit would take forever.

If u have rubbing alcohol at home use that.
Give it a wipe on where ur planning on sticking the Velcro
Nail polish remover works also, most remover will have about 10% acetone

Would something like the Alcohol Wipes in my First Aid Kit work? I believe it is rubbing alcohol cause it is for cuts.

Yup. You need to remove the release agent from the molding process.

Ok. I will get that done tonight. Off Topic Question, is it cheaper to buy tires pre-glued or to glue them yourself?

Glue them yourself. Then you can tape them too

On Proline's site, it looks like for $10 more a pair, the tires will come mounted

I prefer to glue my own tires. I used to buy premounted but got a few that were wobbly as all get out and had to fix them.

If you glue your own it gives you the option to modify foams or tape your tires if you want depending on the application.

I would for sure agree....add weight custom trim the foams or tape if need be.you will take the time to make sure they are fit perfectly. The person on the line slapping 20 kabillion of them a day
Together I'm guessing doesn't have the time to.

Velcro on the sides of the chassis, and they have a website Dusty Motors. Click on buy and it takes you to ebay. I will get pictures after school.

I got mine because I am taking it to a winter camp with a whole lot of snow. Don't know if I am ready to put it in snow though cause last time I had my Slash VXL 2WD near water I rusted all of the bolts and screws.

Another option is the outwears. A little pricey but work great.

    Without it on:

    Beautiful.
I think I am going to get two when I get my next RC... slip the expense in with the "big" purchase. lol

If my chassis was stock, I would have room for this as a cover:

Please don't ask what the body is... I know it is made by Pro-Line and it is a buggy body... I did the research and found it, but like a dummy did not write anything down.

I was just on Outerwears web page and they don't list a cover for the summit. Will the one for the revo work?
