    Evx-2 lvd?

    Hi all, I must be missing something obvious here as I'm not getting the green LVD light when I connect lipo's to the EVX-2 esc. I've got the little card that came on the ESC battery leads and followed the instructions but the light always goes red after the initial green flash.

    Who wants to point out my stupid noob error?

    Thanks,

    Wayne

    When it turns red hold it down like ur turning it off but keep it held down till it turns green
    Green = lipo
    Red = nimh

    if you are trying to turn it on with nimhs in the car even if theyre fully charged you wont be able to change it, you need to have a set of fully charged lipos to turn it on, hope that helped

    Awesome, press and hold for LONGER than I did before and it eventually went green.

    Ran the packs until the LVC cut in and it went to 50% throttle so it works but I was very surprised to put the pack on my lipo checker and find there was 36% left in both packs. I use lipo's all the time and know not to run them too low but 36% (7.6V) is way off empty.

    Is there a way to adjust the cut off voltage?

    If not I may turn the LVC back off and use a Lipo alarm and listen out for the beeping.

    They are 40-80c so should be good, especially at 7.6 Ah!

    Maybe it's the cold, I was doing mixed driving through snow.

    No way to adjust.
    Cold is hard on LiPo... what you are experiencing is normal.
    Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
