ez start glow plug wire help

Okay my glow plug wire is crimpled. (The end is damaged and won't fit on the plug.)
Is it possible to just make on out of a pice of wire that fits snug on the plug and just solder it ont the wire?
Cause I hate carrying around an ignitor and an ez start while trying to drive.

Sure, why not? Or you could buy a replacement for a couple bucks. For the cost of materials and time to manufacture something it would be best to just get a new wire.

I would have to agree. For the few dollars a new one costs just buy new. If you have the parts already, then it wouldn't hurt.

I keep spares handy. They're cheap! And I could plug in 50 of em in the time it takes to fab 1.

haha. Thanks guys. I just like to build stuff myself whenever possible.
The wire just coils around the skinny part of the plug that sticks up, right?

Make sure the wire is on the plug, and touch the glow plug on the base or threads to a non anodized metal surface like the engine block and spin over the engine with the EZ start wand and look to see if the coil is glowing

ezstart has a glow plug light on it, if it lights when you push the button, its usually good.
