did I read that you can turn clutch shoes around?

Stock shoes can be installed leading edge or trailing edge.

Left: Trailing edge (stock configuration) A little longer wear, but more apt to break the shoes at the post hole.

Center: Leading edge. A little better bite and quicker engagement, but wear a little quicker than trailing edge. Less apt to break the shoes at the post hole.
