I wouldn't know how to make snow chains myself, but I think this may be the video you need: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21hebGM8wWM

They also sell them ready-made on ebay. You might want to try Trencher tires before you go to that trouble/expense. They get a lot better traction. They're a little bigger and have a very aggressive tread pattern that seems to work on all surfaces (except I haven't gotten any snow here to try it in yet).
they've been made many times on this forum mostly summit or emaxx sections
Motorcycle/Quad,Think sand vehicle, piggy backs
I made snow chains for the talons..
It kinda worked but was heavy..
I would do what rob said try trenchers or mashers first they may surprise you how well they do dude....peace
Famous last words...watch this!!!!
I bought this wheel/tire combo here in Austria:

The work excellent on Snow.
My trenchers were great in snow until it becomes to deep and fluffy. The chassis just sits on the top and you get noooooooo traction at all.
When the snow gets so deep it does not matter what you have on your wheels its going to sink....peace

Haha! That's my point....It don't....It sits afloat on the top. If it had paddle tyres it may boat along.![]()
